Reunion Manager was started in 2005 by the developers for their own
30th High School Reunion. What was needed was a quick - simple way to allow
classmates & alumni to register and pay online for their reunion tickets using the
Reunion organizers own PayPal account or with just a Credit Card.

The Reunion organizers explored using Classmates.com & MyEvent.com but found
that the costs associated with either service were ridiculous and really didn't offer a basic
non intrusive way to collect the information they needed to organize the reunion.

In response to the Reunion organizers needs the Reunion Manager web site service
was created.

At the reunion itself many of the Alumni told the developers how great it was to have the ability to register and pay for the reunion online, but more importantly how easy and simple it was to use. It was also suggested that other reunions could use this type of service.

Based on this feedback the Reunion Manager web site service was first offered to the general public in late 2005.
